GCPS Marching Band Competition Results
A great weekend for the Norcross HS Marching Band to cap off a week that included
The GCPS Marching Band Exhibition, a Wind Symphony Concert, a tough PR game and The Lake Lanier Tournament of Bands at Chestatee High School. Our students performed a great show, finishing 2nd Place in Open Class and 3rd Overall. Straight Superior Ratings were awarded to the Band, Color Guard, Percussion and Drum Majors.
Blake Unger and Jeff Holcombe also won the Best in Open Class Trophy.

Heritage 94.33
Norcross 91.33
Parkview 90.00
Buford 89.66
Other GCPS schools at the contest included Berkmar (10th place), South Gwinnett (12th place), Shiloh (13th Place).

Straight Superior Ratings in all captions and our best show of the season (so far)! Congratulations to the students and supporters of the marching band for a great performance at the Eagle's Nest Invitational at Collins Hill High School this past Saturday. 14 Bands competed at the event.Final scores:

Congrats to the NHS Marching Band for their FIRST PLACE finish at the Southern Invitational at Sprayberry High School this past Saturday! 20 Bands took the field in competition and trophies awarded included:
Best in Class Percussion
Best in Class Band
High Music Award
High Effect Award
Gold Division Grand Champion
Blake Unger and Jeff Holcombe were fantastic as Drum Majors and led the band to their best show of the year!
